The main hero is Peter, a keen cyclist and former representative, who works as a messenger. He is one of the young men on colorful modern bikes, who create the atmosphere of contemporary cities. At first he seems to be a nice maverick despising distorted consumer society with all its conventions, snobbery, pseudovalue and lies, but only until the tragic accident. The until easy-going, young man becomes a selfish and uncaring individual who, regardless of his surroundings, cares only about his interests. Although he tries to leave his worries and disordered life behind, with the help of his friends, he can´t escape his fate anymore.
