This feature-length grotesque comedy follows the life of a family that moved from a village to the city: of the father-butcher, of the mother working a cash register at a supermarket, and of their two children – a young daughter who has problems at school with the math teacher and of the adolescent son, training to be a butcher in accordance with his father’s wishes. The son is a physical weakling, an anarchist, vegetarian and smokes grass. The parents don’t have what it takes to raise their kids, especially the father, who has an affair with a young butcher and moves in with her. The mother plans revenge on her unfaithful husband. The entire story, which consists of a mosaic of gags, sketches and tragic-comic situations and in which dialogues are replaced by shrieks, interjections and commotion, features a mysterious imp.
