Synopsis

A motorist checks into a hotel. Just to be on the safe side he ties his car parked below his window to the bed. In the early morning a pair of thieves steal the car and drag the bed and its occupant with them. The thieves are chased by policemen resembling police officers from early American silent-screen comedies. An accident occurs during the shoot-out. It turns out that the thieves were not interested in the car, but in the "wonderful new tyres from Barum Superb".
