Who and HowSynopsis
Věra, a student and functionary of the Socialistic Youth Union, gives a passionate speech to students. She is trying, in vain, to awake their activity. She gets offended by the obvious lack of interest of her colleague Michal, so she forces him to at least pay due membership fees and contributions to various solidarity funds. Michal does not have enough money, but he partially pays. He is a very active young man and he helps without any salary to build a social facility of a playground. However, his contemporary, Richard, is much more successful. His father is an influential man in a high position. Although he is now in treatment in hospital, he can feel satisfied. Richard is busy as a bee. He has a high function in the youth union, allowing him a lucrative side income and even power. He fosters relations only with the view of profit; therefore he has among his friends also a foreign currency speculator and underhanded moneychanger. When the exhausted Věra complains that the members of the organisation lack interest, he recommends exemplarily expelling somebody. Thus, Michal is proposed to be expelled.
