It is the year 1945. Before the arrival to the station of the frontier guard the sergeants Vambera and Rejtar involuntarily bathe in ice water and reach the place of destination with shoes full of water. Their commanders reproach the boys that they are careless and therefore decide to read them a lesson. Before service they secretly take away ammunition and hide in the space in which the recruits are to be at patrol. But one of the boys discloses the loss of cartridges and provide them with others. Then without hesitation they fire at their superiors who simulated the trespassers of the frontier. Both commanders have to exert themselves to get out of fire without detriment.
