The famous Czech puppets Spejbl and Hurveenek celebrated in 2010 the eightieth anniversary of their birth. Upon the occasion of this birthday there was created a 3-D film with these characters based on the theatre play by Helena Štáchová entitled Hurveenek’s St. Nicholas. The story of the theatre performance was transferred to a 3-D space and film narration. – Hurveenek and Mánička wait impatiently for St. Nicholas to come. But the scatterbrained Mr. Spejbl forgot to distribute the presents, so Hurveenek and Mánička decide to rectify this “impudence” by dressing up as the devil and St. Nicholas themselves and surprising Daddy and Granny. However, Granny reminds Spejbl of the forgotten event and so Mr. Spejbl has to find some devil disguise..And what happened when more devils showed up than were supposed to?
