Not much happens on the Solec farm in Bohemian Paradise. Mrs Kubová lives there with her two daughters, the inn-keeper Marie and stable worker Lucka. The summer holidays are beginning and the worries and problems of the adults and chores and boredom of the children fill the days. The joy, comfort and happiness don't last long, thought, as the expected storm gathers on the horizon: Mrs Kubová's husband informs here that the farm has to be sold due to financial reasons. A plan is needed to prevent the sale.
