A film on the lives of Hanns Stein and Milan Platovský, two Czechs living in Chile. Although they have different views on General Pinochet, they are co-operating on preparing the premier of the opera Brundibar, composed from the war for Jewish children imprisoned in the Czech Terezin ghetto.
