Ferenc Settles InSynopsis
"Ferenc is painting the furniture before his wedding and he also manages to get paint on himself and his bride-to-be. When he has completed the job, he wants to hang the paintings on the wall but, in doing so, he bangs so hard that he makes a hole straight through to his neighbour's flat. In return she blows soot into his face. These capers make them late for the wedding and Ferenc with his bride run down the street to the registry office drawing the attention of passers-by." Information about the film-makers has not survived. The censors did not allow this film to be shown in public. The censor´s certificate gave the following reason: „The content of the film is without value and the verses are an irritation for those who love their native language.“ The film materials are believed lost.
