Synopsis

A little boy stops in front of a shop selling musical instruments. He looks longingly at the display, dreaming of playing the accordion or violin. When he plays he is always accompanied by an adult musician. When the boy starts on the percussion, the jazz orchestra joins in. Captured in his dream the boy drops his satchel and his homework scatters on the pavement. In his pupil's book, which fell open as it hit the ground, we see the teacher's note: "Have your pupil enrol for music classes".

Note

The orchestra was probably that of Zdeněk barták, featuring clarinettist Ferdinand Havlík.
