Workwoman Marie has long, bushy hair and hates to cover it with a headscarf. Workwoman Anna wears her headscarf exactly as required. Both of them are young and fancy the setup man named Petr. Petr is at a loss which one to give his attention to, and the two women compete to win his favour. At a dance party, he dances with both of them. Even though he compliments Marie for her beautiful hair, it seems that it is Anna who has won Petr´s heart. Back at work, Marie is not wearing her headscarf again and stands at her machine tool daydreaming. She is imagining Petr being charmed by her passionate Spanish dancing. But the avakening is painsul. Her hair has gotten into the machine and only the prompt action of the foreman saves her life. However, the long hair she was so proud of is gone.
