An old man is in a room overfilled with furniture and prepares a small sheet of paper, writing a short message on it. He then firmly holds a decorated dagger with both his hands on the table and leans against it with his neck. The dead man’s body remains seated, only blood flows from under his head lying on the table. But the same man, whose face is disfigured by a dark wart, simultaneously sits next to him in an armchair. Several events from his life pass in front of the man’s eyes. There are no words, only music. Young parents bring a baby into a room. A young boy is playing alone and curiously peeps into the next room from where he hears some noise. He catches his parents having sex. A young man gambles. He loses all his money and his woman companion is laughing thunderously. He breaks into a locked drawer and offers his partners the stolen jewels. A man weeps over a coffin containing his dead mother. Some very young girls – light creatures – dance into a room and lure the man to leave with them.
