Synopsis

Police Inspector Braun and the Chief Inspecotr will sit at the editorial office of the Žižkov magazines "The Poor Fellow" and "The New Youth". These are published by Mr. Knotek and editor Šmíd. In search of compromising materials, the secret police will also conduct a tour ot he apartment of the musician Štorkán, where not even a bomber will escape their attention. Inspector Braun eventually becomes Oberpolizeiinspektor. (According to an article appearing in the press at the time the film was made)

Note

The fifth short story "the greates specialty of the Austrian Empire", The Show-Case Nark, about the police and their battle with the editors of the Žižkov magazines "The Poor Fellow" and "The New Youth" was also shot. However, the short story did not make it into the final cut, where it was originally included as be third. The film materials are believed lost. Theodor Pištěk, Vladimír Hlavatý, Václav Trégl, František Kreuzmann, Vlastimil Brodský, Josef Hlinomaz, Miroslav Homola, Fanda Mrázek, Jaroslav Štercl, Marie Nademlejnská and Vladimír Klemens played in the short story.
