In the middle of the village of Drnovice (Czech Republic) with its population of two thousand not far from the South Moravian town of Vyškov there stands a football stadium that holds eight thousand spectators. The rise and fall of the Drnovice football club is typical for Czech football, politics and businesses of the 1990s. There aren’t just beautiful goals behind them, but also secret sponsors, corruption and doping.
