An episode introducing the individual part of the fairytale film Car Fairy Tales, tells of a naïve and lethargic writer who must write a piece on the topic of whether a car has a soul. If he does not meet the very short deadline for this, his publisher will fire him and take away his beloved car. He seeks the answer in a repair garage, at an automobile factory and at the race track.
