Synopsis

Roofer Fridolín meets on a building a young girl from the house opposite. He offers her salami and invites her to a rendezvous. On a bicycle with a trailer he sets out with the girl on an excursion to the countryside where together they snack on delicious salami. On the trip back the trailer with the girl in it becomes uncoupled from the bicycle, which Fridolín does not even notice. The girl is transported into town on the bicycle of another man. An argument erupts between him and Fridolín, which arouses the attention of the constable. The girl takes fright and runs home. At night she dreams of smoked meats and first thing in the morning she goes off after Fridolín at work. She finds him the moment Fridolín is giving his colleagues a taste of his salami. So there was none left for the girl, but Fridolín takes her to the shop of the Smoked Meats Cooperative of Aš, where he purchases what her heart and stomach desire.
