Daniel, the sound engineer for a rock band, has health problems, feels weak and sweats a lot. At night he is tortured by a dream about his girlfriend, dressed in black, accompanied by a little girl, walking through an alley, perhaps to a graveyard gate. Daniel once had many girls, until he learned that his girlfriend is pregnant. He had one-night stands with girls – the fans and with other members of the rock group. He always believed the risk of AIDS did not apply to him. He considered it a problem for homosexuals, prostitutes and drug-addicts. But Nora, a vivid girl and Daniel’s new acquaintance has slept with his friends, including some who shot drugs. In the bar Daniel met a friend whom he knows is a homosexual. The unhappy young man tells him how he longs for a stable relationship. Also he had a sexual experience with Nora, who needed proof she was able to seduce anybody. Daniel’s friend, who is a doctor warns him that the danger of AIDS concerns everybody, not just the risk groups, but also heterosexuals with risky behaviour. On top of that, there is no effective cure – maybe in five, ten, or twenty years. Daniel, who does not want to endanger his beloved girl and the expected baby, decides to undertake thorough tests in a laboratory.
