Synopsis
An adaptation of the classic Czech children's book by Jan Karafiát from the world of insects and the life of its fairylike beetles.
Note
The film remained unfinished except only several parts: How the Li'l Beetle Learned to Fly, the scene with the Li'l Beetle and the Ladyfly, Visiting the Godmother, and the Little Cottage under the Oak. The paper cut-out figurines with moving joints and the background were designed by architect Bohuslav Šula.
