The Faraway PlacesSynopsis
Mr Kalina, Hanička's father, works at the airport. He helps his colleague, an airhostess, and looks after an orphaned little girl from Africa for the night before she is placed in a children's home. Despite the language barrier, the two become friends and the next day the African girl gives him a shell as a keepsake.
