Crowds of people are pushing their way onto a tram at the Prague Wilson's station. A country man stays on the tram's platform, carrying a live goose in his basket. After a while, he notices someone he knows on another tram, together with his daughter. He gesticulates and makes faces and gains the man's attention. Communication falters and so gesticulating they agree that the country man should get on the same tram. A ticket-inspector stops him on the steps. In the confusion that follows, two men get off the tram. The little girl is left standing helplessly on the platform of the leaving tram.
