The Death warns Orpheus that Eurydice, who has not grown older since she left for the Hades, is too young for him. Orpheus can take her out of the station but he must not look back at her as otherwise he may lose his life. Eurydice follows him wordless; however, when they come out on the street, she cannot resist a young boy's seducing and lets him embrace her. Orpheus looks back at them and incidentally steps in the way of a car which smashes him.
