Summary

A film revealing Wallachian myths tells the story of a father who departs with his two children for his father-in-law's cottage in the woods of Riedgost. The grandfather gradually brings all of them and the fairytale heroes, who live in the surrounding wood, together by his "legends". Finally, everyone finds what's proper to each of them - the children discover the fairytale, the granddad finds the way to his grandchildren and his son-in-law, and the father reveals the flavour of the genuine Wallachian aqua vitae – plum brandy.
