The mosaic of stories from Paseky nad Jizerou is a rediscovery of places in which Czech writer Karel Václav Rais set his revivalist novel Sunken Patriots. In freely elaborated recollections from the annals of Drahoslav Waldmann, the local townspeople take up the roles of their fathers and grandfathers. Film magic and timewarps come to life, as well as imagination coloured by the tradition Giant Mountains regional traditions. The feature debut of this director-documentary filmmaker.
