This film is a grotesque view of present-day life and false national myths and rituals. The film takes place during the hockey world championship and is set in the inconspicuous backdrop of a village near the border. A bunch of old townsfolks meet in the local pub to support the Czech team. Sport gives them the illusion that happiness can be obtained without having to get up from the television or from your pint of beer. (Footage from the World Championship in ice hockey in Hannover 2001 and clips from Czech Radio 1 were used).
