Synopsis

The coquettish Eva fires love into a captain's heart, the she rejects him and he tries to kidnap her. In the end he renounces his love. Eva enters a convent and the captain tries to find her. Eva is caught during an attempt to escape and she dies. The captain, who is waiting for her and sees only her funeral procession, runs off into the mountains with his tormented heart. There he is lured into an abyss by a Eva's ghost. (According to an article appearing in the press at the time the film was made)
