Summary

Arthur, the dog, is the darling of the large Prchlík family and the whole town where they live. Due to the confusion of the Prchlíc grandmother, a stray Dalmatian, Merlin, is let into the house by mistake. After this event the life of the family and town is turned upside down. The aggressive and playful Merlin is indistinguishable from the good and friendly Arthur, causing many humorous situations which complicate the life of the family. Only thanks to the inventiveness of the three Prchlík brothers does the story have a comic and expected denouement.
