Summary

The main setting is a house in Ústí nad Labem belonging to a chemical factory. Here the fates of people permanently and temporarily living there intertwine - of a young couple with a child, of Borek Trojan and of his love for Zita Gráfová and of young Roman Gráf, in love with Madda Serafínová, whose relationship leads to murder. (The film's logo used on the screen and in promotional materials is Lovers & Murderers).
